Q: Does The Barkery Singapore have a physical location?
A: Yes we do! Our store is located at 326 Joo Chiat Road, S(427583).

We are open Tuesdays to Saturdays between 10 - 8pm. We close at 6pm on Sundays. (Opening hours valid from 10th March 2016 onward).

Please note that we are closed on Monday.


Q: Are you licensed to produce food for dogs?

A: Yes we are! We are licensed by the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) of Singapore to produce food for dogs, and our kitchen is regularly inspected by them.

Q: Must I still pre-order before coming by your shop? Or can I just buy things off the shelves?

A: We'd definitely recommend giving us a call or emailing us before coming by our shop. While we always keep a supply of biscuits on our shelves, they sell out rather quickly. If you have a specific type of biscuit in mind, it would be best if you called first to check if it's in stock. Even if it's not on the shelves, we'd be glad to prepare your desired amount for you.

For products such as our pupcakes, cakes and pies, a call before pick up is a must. This is due to the fact that such products take time to prepare for sale (for example, the pupcakes and cakes require a fresh application of vegetable icing), and as our products contain no artificial preservatives, we usually don't prepare any beforehand unless there is an order.

As such, we'd definitely pre-ordering anything you'd like to buy. However if you have a last-minute order or request, we'll try our very best to accommodate your needs :)

Q: What are your opening hours?
A: We're open from Tuesdays to Saturdays between 10am to 8pm. On Sundays we are open from 10am to 6pm. We are closed on Mondays.


Q: What modes of payment do you accept?

A: For online orders, we accept payment via PayPal, Bank Transfer or Cash on Delivery (or Self-Collection); payment options may be chosen upon checkout.

For in-store purchases we currently only accept NETS or Cash.

For those making bank transfers, please do send us the transaction reference number or a picture of the transaction receipt once the transfer has been made.


Q: This is my first time ordering online, any tips to make the process more efficient?
A: Welcome to the Bakery! We would like to recommend that you create an account with us rather than checkout as a guest. This is for convenience and ease of use for future orders as you would not have to fill in the fields all over again.

Also, to save more time, we suggest that you opt to make your shipping and delivery information the same as your billing information.

Q: I need my order immediately. Is there a cash and carry option?
A: Our biscuits and treats may usually be collected immediately. For large orders, availability depends on our inventory.

We appreciate at least 2 days of notice for mutt-loaves, birthday cakes and pupcakes as they are best consumed fresh.

However, you are most welcome to call us if you require any products urgently and we will accommodate your requests to our best ability.

Please do note that we will not be able to accommodate same-day delivery requests.


Q: I'd like to change or cancel my order please! How do I go about doing that?

A: Please do call or text us at 96169097! Or you could also email us at sales@sgbarkery.com. We'd really appreciate either an SMS or an email to confirm the change or cancellation.

For regular items, such as cakes and treats, please do give us at least 2 day's notice if you'd like to change or cancel your order. The very latest we can accept changes to your order would be by 3pm the previous working day.

This does NOT apply to special or customized orders; please do give us at least 3 day's notice if you'd like to cancel.

If you'd like to change your order from self-collection to delivery or vice-versa, please do let us know latest the day before the date of fulfillment!

Please note that some items have to be specially ordered or made in preparation for fulfillment, so please do be sure before placing special orders!


Q: Are there any other outlets that carry your products?

A: Yes there are! Please visit our Affiliates & Partners page for our current list of retailers!

Our Products
Q: How should I store your products and what are their shelf-lives?
A: The biscuits and dehydrated treats may be refrigerated for up to 4-6 months. We've put in a desiccant, but please put them in the fridge, or at least a cool dry place to ensure longest lasting freshness!

The cakes and pupcakes may be kept refrigerated for up to 2-3 days, but do not freeze them (as the frosting may be affected in appearance). We'd recommend that you store our products in air-tight containers while refrigerated to maintain freshness.

The veggie frosting may be affected by cold air within the fridge, which can cause the frosting to dry up and crack. This happens quite rarely and depends on the fridge's internal temperatures and dryness. This can be avoided by ordering a PURE SWEET POTATO (ORANGE) frosting (which doesn't dry up or crack) for your cake, or by putting in cut veggies like celery or carrots in the cake box to maintain moisture.

Please do keep our products refrigerated rather than out in the open (especially not under the hot sun for long!) as they are prepared fresh and contain no preservatives.

Our meatloaves can last up to a week in the fridge, and our meatballs and pies can last up to 5 days in the fridge :)

Q: Why are some biscuits irregularly shaped or colored?
A: All of our products are lovingly hand-made. As such, each biscuit and pupcake is unique and will not be exact replicas of one another.

Such irregularities will not affect the quality or consistency of the treats in any way.

Q: What kind of ingredients do you use?
A: At the Barkery, we believe all pets deserve all-natural and human-grade food.

Every ingredient used has been subjected to research and testing in order to optimize or increase your pet’s well-being. We also work to minimize the use of ingredients that fall outside a canine's natural diet.

Common and nutritious ingredients we use are minced meat (beef, fish, chicken or mutton) sardines, pumpkin, beetroot, orange sweet potato, carob and more.

Even the colouring we use is made from scratch by us and derived from fruits and vegetables.

Q: How will I know if my pet can eat your treats?
A: All of our ingredients have been screened to ensure they are non-toxic and beneficial for doggy consumption.

However, it is the owner’s responsibility to be aware of allergies. Therefore, we suggest consulting your vet if you are unsure that your dog can safely consume our treats.

Q: My dog is allergic to some of the ingredients. May I customize my order?
A: Definitely! We are happy to cater to the special needs of your dog.

For custom orders, the order will have to be at least one 700g Cake (Medium Barkday Cake OR Barkday Bone Cake), 500g of biscuits OR 6 pupcakes.

 Please note that all customizations will be subject to additional cost (to be confirmed upon email).

Q: Do you use any artificial ingredients?
A: No we do not. No artificial preservatives, colours or ingredients are used to create our products. Our biscuits and pupcakes are all naturally coloured and flavored.

Local Delivery & Collection
Q: How can I pick up my order? Do you deliver?
A: Your orders can be picked up free of charge at our our store front at 326 Joo Chiat Road, S(427583). Pick ups from our store may be made Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm. Please do indicate your preference of pick up time and date in your order!

We offer free delivery for orders above $50.00. If your order is below $50.00 and you would still like us to deliver, there will be an additional $12.00 delivery fee. You can choose this option upon check-out

We will deliver within two periods during the week, 11am-2pm and 2-5pm (2-4pm for Sundays).

Please note that we have outsourced our delivery services, so while the time slots for delivery remain the same, we will no longer be able to accommodate requests for hour-long delivery windows or special delivery timings.

The Barkery's Reward System

We've implemented a reward system for our fantastic customers! Basically, whenever you make an order online, points get awarded to your rewards account once payment has been made and the order has been fulfilled.


Q: How do I access the rewards system?

A: The rewards system may be accessed via the small orange square at the bottom right-hand corner of our website!

Q: How do I accumulate points?
A: Points are accumulated with every dollar spent at The Barkery Singapore's website. They are credited to your account when payment has been made and the order fulfilled.

They may also be accumulated with purchases made at our store. Simply tell our staff that you'd like to accumulate your points upon payment at the cashier and she'll set it up for you!

Q: What can I do with my points?
A: You may use your points to redeem free treats or discounts from our store.

Q: How do I redeem the points I have earned?
A: To redeem your points, you can do so online via the rewards system link. Please do also send us an email stating which treats you'd like to redeem for, or simply add that information to the Comments Box before checking out.

Please do note that if we are not notified of your redemption via email or order comments, and if you do not tell us what you'd like to redeem for, we will not be able fulfill the redemption.

You may also choose to redeem at our store; please do note that in-store redemption will require the QR code attached to the rewards account.

The following treats are not available for redemption: NUVILAC TREATS, BEEF TENDONS, YAK MILK CHEWS.
